§ Press Kit

Logos and the short story behind 12 Points.

For journalists, bloggers, podcasters, and anyone writing about the project. Everything below is free to use in coverage of 12 Points — please don't alter the marks or use them to imply endorsement.

§ 01 / About

12 Points is an unofficial Eurovision Song Contest companion app and a large-scale citizen-science project on musical taste and collective choice. Listeners across Europe (and beyond) rate every entry, build personal scoreboards, and compare verdicts with friends — and, in doing so, contribute anonymized ratings to a public research dataset.

The project is led by Pantelis P. Analytis at the University of Southern Denmark in collaboration with Minsu Park at NYU Abu Dhabi, with support from The Carlsberg Foundation. 12 Points is independent and not affiliated with the EBU.
